Degenerative back

Today I was treated with a second of possibly three procedures where the docs inject (8 times) around a vertebrae in the lumbar region of my back. This is to avoid a 5th surgery on my spine. It is working. The procedure sounds awful, but they put me under to do it, and other than the grogginess associated with that, and a little tenderness there, not bad. In a few days, the improvement will make it all worth it.

I am hoping that this will mark the end of back problems for me.

Worried?

It was announced today that Don Imus was released from his contract with MSNBC and CBS radio.  It seems to be one of the biggest stories on the news today.  Do I think what he said about the Rutgers team was wrong?  Sure.  Do I think people are overreacting a little?  Could be.  Do I think that you care what I think?  Beats me.  I wouldn't if I were you.

There are much more pressing matters before us.  There is a war in Iraq.  There are trroubles in Afghanistan and Korea.  I am more concerned about these things than I am about what happens to Don Imus.  He's a big boy.  He intentionally pushes things to the limit.  I think that all the radio and TV personalities who spout their opinions regarding whatever world or local event bothers them today are similar.  They have followings.  Some are very (maybe violently) dedicated to these celebrities.  The personalities know this.  The TV stations know this.  The radio stations know this.  Why are they all acting shocked now?

It has been a long time since my first post.  Guess my blog won't be growing to phenominal size any time soon.  Bear with me.
